My name is Khandra White, and I am the proud owner and CEO of Kay Miles Transportation. What began in 2019 as a vision to bring people together through safe, reliable, and luxury travel experiences has grown into a company that represents resilience, passion, and dedication. For me, Kay Miles Transportation is more than just a business—it is a labor of love that reflects my values, my family, and the legacy of my late father.

 

From the very beginning, my mission has been to provide more than transportation. I wanted to create an experience—one where every client feels cared for, where every detail is handled with professionalism, and where every trip is both smooth and memorable. When the COVID-19 pandemic challenged the entire industry, we endured with grace, never compromising on safety or the high standards of service our customers have come to expect. Those difficult times only strengthened my commitment to building a company that people can trust and depend on.

 

My passion for travel and service comes directly from my father. Growing up, I watched him plan and host extravagant trips for our family, filled with excitement, joy, and connection. Those experiences left a lasting impression on me. Though he is no longer with us, the spirit of those moments continues to inspire me every day. The drive, creativity, and love for bringing people together that he instilled in me during childhood are at the very heart of Kay Miles Transportation.

 

Being an African American woman in business has not been without challenges, but those challenges have only fueled my determination. Each obstacle has reminded me of why I started this journey—to build something meaningful, to honor my father’s memory, and to create opportunities for my family and community. I do this for the love of my family and for the guarantee that every client will experience happiness, comfort, and professionalism when they choose our services.
